Criteria

7.1. incorporate current knowledge, theory, and clinical judgment in delivering physical therapy interventions

7.2. identify and integrate appropriate resources to support clinical decision-making

7.3. incorporate patient function and health status into the selection of interventions within the physical therapist plan of care

7.4. progress, adjust, and monitor interventions in the plan of care in response to patient status and clinical indications

7.5. demonstrate safe and effective therapeutic interventions of an entry level PTA

For this program outcome, in my Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation class, we were required to make an home exercise program for each stage of healing of a specific diagnosis of our choice. I chose to do a rotator cuff tear with surgery. There are educational topics for each stage of healing as well as exercises. By using our clinical judgement, we are delivering physical therapy interventions and progress, adjust, monitor interventions in the POC in response to patient status and clinical indications.
