For this program outcome, in our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation class, we were required as part of Keep Stepping to make a medication report on the medication that our client was on when we were working with them. By doing this, it gives us a better understanding of what each medication does and how it could potentially be affecting their rehab process or even if they are on pain medication, which means the pain scale is not valid information for our documentation. We are constantly asking our client what their pain is and obtaining subjective and objective data to put into our documentation. By communicating with out clients/patients and making sure they are still taking these medications, it helps us have a better understanding why they are or are not making process.
